Litigation support

Expert witness testimony & trial support

Analysis only matters if it holds up and the jury understands it. From the first strategy call through the expert report, the evidentiary hearing, and trial, we keep the technical work clear, documented, and consistent.

Expert reports

Reports state the methodology, findings, and opinions clearly, are structured to meet Federal Rule of Evidence 702 and applicable state standards, and include Rule 26-compliant disclosures for civil matters. Every opinion is tied to the underlying records and prepared to withstand cross-examination.

Evidentiary hearings & Daubert challenges

We support counsel through pretrial motions, Daubert and Shreck hearings, and other admissibility challenges, whether you're defending the reliability of an analysis or challenging the other side's. That includes technical briefings, declarations, and hearing testimony.

Deposition & trial testimony

Clear testimony, no surprises, and a consistent voice from the hearing room to the verdict. Andrew McDermott has testified on cellular records, data sessions, gang investigations, and digital image analysis, and has years of experience explaining technical material to lay audiences, including juries, in classrooms of investigators, and in briefings for prosecutors.

Attorney education & cross-examination preparation

Available as a standalone engagement. One-on-one, plain-language briefings on cell site analysis, device extractions, and other digital evidence concepts, plus preparation to examine or cross-examine digital evidence witnesses, including outlines of questions and the technical points behind them.

Demonstrative exhibits

Maps, timelines, annotated stills, and side-by-side comparisons that make technical evidence understandable without overstating it, each one traceable to the source records.
